ODH|Xpress Finds First Feasible Solution for MIPLIB 2017 Instance neos-4358725-tagus
Harrington Park, NJ — December 28, 2025 — We have generated a first reported feasible solution for the MIPLIB 2017 benchmark instance neos-4358725-tagus using ODH|Xpress, achieving an objective value of 6,762.060133. At the time of our run, MIPLIB listed no solution available for this instance.
The instance neos-4358725-tagus is a large-scale mixed-binary optimization model submitted by Jeff Linderoth and categorized within the neos-pseudoapplication-57 group. It contains 11,494 variablesand 22,777 constraints, including 4,898 binary variables, and features structural elements such as precedence and variable-bound relationships.
“This milestone demonstrates the strength of our optimization workflow on benchmark models where feasibility itself is nontrivial—turning an ‘unsolved’ public benchmark into a model with a documented incumbent,” said Robert Ashford, CEO.
